As an animal lover, it was a natural progression to study wildlife photography in addition to pet photography. But, believe me when I tell you — it is a completely different animal! While photographing domestic pets is usually fast-paced and high-energy, wildlife photography requires a lot of patience and completely different gear.

You might sit in one spot for hours waiting to get a shot of a particular beast. Then, you can’t very well tell them to sit or bribe them with treats to look at your camera!
